The Gundaroo Film Society (GFS) is a non-profit organisation run by volunteers to encourage interest in all genres of film. GFS is affiliated with the NSW Federation of Film Societies which is in turn a member of the Australian Council of Film Societies. Membership of these societies is essential for GFS in order to satisfy copyright legislation and to enable GFS to afford licensing fees for screening the films.

Accordingly, there are general rules that we need to follow such as maintaining details of membership, ensuring that we screen to members and guests only and not charging admission for single screenings.

Screenings are always great social events.  The society plans a program of films for each year with screenings, usually two films, once a month on a Saturday night. Members are invited to bring meals and drinks to enjoy as part of the theatre.

As a member, you are entitled to invite three guests per season or one guest for the remainder of the season for any member joining at a reduced price after June.  Membership is open to all Gundaroo and surrounding region residents, including Canberra.

The film program for 2022 has now been finalised and published.

The films that couldn't be shown in 2021 due to COVID are included in 2022.
