MEALS DURING THE FILM SEASON
The Full Story
Good news folks !!
We are re-introducing meals during the film season. A limited number of tables will be setup for use at the next film screening. These will be spaced between rows of seats to ensure the correct social distancing under COVID-Safe protocols.
Members and guests can bring food and drinks to the movie on a BYO everything basis.
At this stage, the Gundaroo Hall Committee still plans to host a meal before the November film screening. See below for more details.
As mentioned above you can now bring your own takeaway food, drinks and utensils along to the hall to consume before screen time.
The Gundaroo Film Society encourages members and guests to support the local food outlets to source their takeaway food.
Please do not share food, drinks or utensils with anyone outside your immediate group and ensure that all food, utensils and waste is taken home with you.
Contact details for Gundaroo’s local food outlets are shown below.
Cork Street Café – (02) 6236 8217 (Click here). This is a popular favourite with locals for great pizzas, salads, focaccias and yummy cakes. Allow plenty of time before film screening.

GUNDAROO HALL MEAL/MOVIE NIGHT
Meal/Movie dinner night – at one screening per year a catered meal is provided by the Gundaroo Hall Committee in conjunction with the Gundaroo Film Society. All proceeds of the night go to the Hall. Drinks are BYO. In 2021 our last film of the year on Sat 20 November is Soul Kitchen. Meal tickets are priced at $35.00 per head for a two-course meal. These nights are a major fund-raiser to help with the upkeep of the Gundaroo Soldier's Memorial Hall.
Further information regarding the menu will be provided closer to the event.
