Last month we had a well-attended screening of the Ugandan film Queen of Katwe, for our
opening night of the 2026 season. It was a great performance by a largely local cast.
Patrons gave it an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars.
This month we're screening two light-hearted films on Sat 21 March 2026. The first is a short film,
Frohe Ostern! Happy Easter! where four generations of German immigrants gather
for their annual get-together, on the banks of the Murray River, over Easter.
The second film is What we Did on Our Holiday. This is an entertaining and heart-warming film where
a family of five travel to an uncle’s estate, in rural Scotland, to celebrate their granddad’s 75th birthday.
However the parent’s relationship is on the rocks, and this isn’t public knowledge.
What happens when the kids get together with their well-liked grandfather?
Doors open at 6:00 pm for all to enjoy a BYO everything meal and
have a chat before the first film screens at 7:00 pm.
